Creating / Editing Categories in eBay Print

To create store categories (Level 1) in your eBay store simply follow the instructions below:

1. Login to your eBay account
2. Go to My eBay > Account > Manage My Store
3. Click the 'Store Categories' link on the left
4. Add your Categories. Ensure you use correct spelling and grammar and don't use all capital letters.

To create a Store sub-category (Level 2)

1. Login to your eBay account
2. Go to My eBay > Account > Manage My Store
3. Click the 'Store Categories' link
4. Click the 1st level category name. This will open a new area to add sub categories.
5. Add your Sub-categories. Ensure you use correct spelling and grammar and don't use all capital letters.

To create a Store sub subcategory (Level 3)

1. Login to your eBay account
2. Go to My eBay > Account > Manage My Store
3. Click the 'Store Categories' link
4. Click the 1st level category name. This will open to show your 2nd level sub-categories
5. Click the 2nd level subcategory name for the category where you want to add the 3rd level sub subcategories
6. Add your Categories. Ensure you use correct spelling and grammar and don't use all capital letters.

IMPORTANT: You MUST have active products in those categories for them to appear in eBay. If you are listing items to eBay via third party integrator / platforms such as Neto, ChannelAdvisor, Shopify, Intelligent Reach, Omnivore etc you will need to contact them if you're not sure how to map your products to your categories.
